The new Volvo V40 has a large stand at the Geneva event because of its external airbags
for users who walk the streets. The Swedish manufacturer is studying the sale
of the model in emerging markets; the new technology opens the hood and slows
the car to prevent deaths. No doubt the manufacturer from Sweden has always been known for having a major
cause of security and so much of the investment that the company receives is
placed on studies and analyzes of new safety technology, this is the case of
the new model presented in Switzerland .

to revolutionize the segment C. Even though the model presents a truly
innovative design the big highlight of it is its external airbag. Volvo says
that when given the run over the hood is opened and the airbag is inflated
before the car reaches the person.
To complete or security system the Volvo V40 is equipped
with the so-called Full Auto Brake system, which slows the car only to avoid
obstacles and strong impacts on people. "As the innovative detector walker
Full Auto Brake is available in the V40 the car opens the first airbag for
external users in the world. This confirms that we are leaders in safety,
"emphasized during a press conference in Geneva , it was broadcast live over the
internet, Volvo CEO and President Stefan Jacoby.
Another technology developed is shown in the Geneva Motor
Show, we are talking about the City Safety; this is an anti-collision system
that reduces or avoids impacts also. Before this operated to thirty kilometers
per hour, now this ensures safe speed of 50 kilometers per hour. The Volvo V40
is also equipped with the system that gives the car park only in parallel
places, including equipment safety and comfort.
Next to the car the CEO and president of Volvo Car bet the
luxury model will revolutionize the compact segment. "The V40 will change
the balance of power in the segment C. Its dynamics, fuel efficiency, safety
and quantity of media resources will highlight in its class," says Stefan
Jacoby. According to Jacoby's new Volvo model proves that it is possible to
have fuel economy without compromising driving pleasure.
Engine options include the Swedish brand will make available
three to gasoline, so we have a T3 of 150 horsepower, 180-T4 and T5 horsepower

this volume will go to the European public.
