Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept

Land Rover dares somewhat recently and rightly so. Only the Range Rover Evoque went without any major changes emerged from a breathtaking study and celebrates new sales records. Now Land Rover unveils the next spectacular novelty: a study of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible that its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (08/03/2012 - 18/03/2012) will be celebrating. The convertible concept was developed by Land Rover Design Director, Gerry McGovern and his team. McGovern: "the Evoque is suitable excellently for a convertible version. The study presents itself not as a conventional design draft of a convertible - but we have the balanced lines of the Evoque carefully developed to obtain both the characteristic shape of the model and to create something completely new that is unique and, as we find, is very desirable".

The base of the bearing with a soft top convertible concept is the Range Rover Evoque coupe. The concept car offers a fully retractable roof system also the rollover protection ROPS (roll over protection system). For flexibility and versatility, for example, a downward to open tailgate and the Assembly with four full-fledged comfort seats provide in the conceptual model.

The appearance is modern, confident and dynamic. Strong shoulders and molded fenders create an athlete in the form of an open compact SUV. The front shows well-known already decided and weighty, additionally supported by an expressive front bumper, side skirts and a dynamically styled back bumper full of character.

Like the other variants of the model shows the convertible concept of an extremely Evoques rising waistline and distinctive wedge shape. Furthermore, the makers were able to realize the open version, without affecting the weight and high torsional stiffness of the Evoque to any significant extent. Contact with the ground gets the concept model on novel titanium silver alloy wheels in 21 inches, while the paint was developed for the equally new color "Grey Causeway". Thus, the interior blends into "Lunar" and "Ivory", with the leather seats feature contrast stitching and perforated conditions in "Ivory".
