Dacia Lodgy

Dacia a little forgotten manufacturer in the segment presents a model rather than market appeal of the emerging countries, the minivan for the Duster, Logan and Sandero model will cost about 10,000 euros in Europe. Dacia is one of the world's oldest manufacturers of vehicles but certainly none of the older models recently achieved great success with models like the Logan, Sandero or Duster began to hear about this brand that is now part of Renault group.

The manufacturer from Romania was founded for over forty-five years and since 1999 is part of the French automaker Renault or rather the Renault group. Let us now find the new car Renault-Nissan Group, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show a few days ago, this model is the minivan version of the Logan line.

The Dacia Lodgy is sold in Europe starting this month with a starting price of 9,900 euros, the multimedia system will be offered from 430 euros, and in turn the parking sensor and sell electronic speed control as standard. With room for five occupants, the model has a trunk with space for some attractive and spacious 827 liters capacity.

At the moment the arrival of Lodgy to other markets than the Europeans certainly is being studied and finally the model comes under the Renault brand. In an interview with Carlos Tavares, CEO of Dacia was asked but would be a cannibalization of the models by Renault. So the CEO himself said that in many countries this would not be a problem as the French brand has no minivan in this format.

As much as Tavares has not confirmed in many places it talks about the new model Lodgy which begins to be made in late 2013 or early 2014 in many international markets like Latin America for example. According to the interview the head of the Romanian brand Dacia said that in Europe is what they call "smart buy".

So the consumer pays and receives what they really needed. "An investigation showed that only 5% of buyers think a Renault Dacia when making the purchase. Our goal is for the consumer who leaves used cars to buy a new car," he says.

On the model Sandero the VP of external communications Stephane Guilbaud warns that the hatch will be the first model of Dacia in being completely renovated. "The new version will be in Paris, the model has to change and can not continue as before". The executive also warned that everyone should be watching the fourth generation of the Clio as it will be the real focus of this 2012.
